Communications Officer – 0.6 to 0.8 EFT – Part time

The position will be responsible for developing and implementing ARC Justice’s Communications Plan and will manage website development and social media accounts for ARC Justice’s three programs: Loddon Campaspe Community Legal Centre, Goulburn Valley Community Legal Centre and Housing Justice.

As a highly collaborative team member, the Communication Officer works closely with the leadership team to drive the strategy and effective use of external communication channels. The successful candidate will have an ability for turning the most complex of issues into simple, compelling stories and develop communications strategies that have the power to shape public narrative.

As well as an attractive salary, 3 days ex gratia between Christmas & New Year’s Day, salary packaging, an accommodation & meal/entertainment packaging is also available.

Monitoring and Evaluation Officer – 0.8 EFT – Part time

The Monitoring & Evaluation Officer will play a critical role supporting ARC Justice to strength the use of research, monitoring and evaluation data to inform planning, to demonstrate the impact of our work, and to promote a culture of learning for continuous improvement within the organisation and wider networks.

Working closely with the Strategy & Impact Manager, the position will support evaluation capacity building across the organisation and will have responsibility for coordinating evaluation activities, improving systems and processes for data collection and management. The role will contribute to reports and grant applications, conduct research activities such as legal and housing needs assessments, and policy analysis for advocacy and law reform initiatives.

The successful candidate will have the ability to work collaboratively within and across teams, good attention to detail and problem-solving skills, an understanding of both qualitative and quantitative research and evaluation methods, and the ability to synthesise information and communicate simply and effectively with different internal and external audiences to support learning.

You will be joining an established and cohesive team that has a strong culture of collaboration and continuous improvement. This position can be based in either Bendigo or Shepparton, depending on the candidate’s preference. With either location just 1 ¾ hours from Melbourne by freeway and regularly serviced by train, ARC Justice is based in desirable regional Victoria localities, featuring excellent schools, health facilities and cultural experiences.
